Lufthansa CEO warns Brexit "crisis" would hit European travel demand
A British exit from the European Union could be a "crisis" that would hit economic growth in the region and lower demand for air travel, the head of German airline Lufthansa (LHAG.DE) warned. The UK should get out, the EU is a gargantuan rule making beast with zero representation against encroachment. The whole Eurocontrol that governs the skies from Iceland to Italy is an expensive organization to deal with and not much interested in helping pilots.
Spohr is a dutiful employee of the German government sent out to expound the official line of scare tactics. Economically and culturally the Brits are absolute fools to continue to have unelected bureaucrats in Brussels make and enforce their laws and demand the Brits pay their ever increasing demands.

You are correct, but just like Air Canada, offspring are never free from Big Daddy. The politicians and the bureaucrats always have their finger on the scale and it costs nothing for this type of response to "friendly suggestions". That of course helped Bombardier in all likelihood. The rewards do come back.
Yeah, right. It would hit the income for the EU and Germany wouldn't like that. The Brits and Germans have always been tourists and having a border again, we do not share a currency, would not affect much.
I'm a bit scpetical, on what arguments this claim is based on ? I think Brexit won't change a thing,
