Vietnamese Startup Bamboo Airways Commits For 20 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners

Vietnamese startup carrier, Bamboo Airways, has announced its commitment to purchase 20 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. The airline, which aims to launch operations in 2019, already has a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for 24 A321neos. Bamboo Airways, part of a Vietnamese consortium, was brought up with the goal of promoting tourism in the Asian country from the city of Hanoi.
