Very steep landing in an ATR (Video)

How about simply making a 360 on final....or some "S" turns to loose a little more altitude?

WOW! I have seen some pilots do some interesting landings (like a CRJ landing on a 5800ft runway but touching down at least half way down)but this one is a little crazy! You could definitely tell they were way too high...I am surprised that the didn't go around!

Navy carrier aviator, or what? I would have to call this the 'kamikaze approach'. Similar to the overhead 360, but without the 360. Can they still use the airplane?

Why would a jam in the pitch trim force this kind of approach?

The pilots are very lucky they didn't plant their aircraft...

A steep approach is not the cause of a garbage landing, period. These clowns should not have jobs.

I would like to see that from the ground! I would sure have hated to be a passenger on that plane.!

THAT WAS A HARD LANDING. IF I WAS ON THE PLANE I WOULD HAVE SICK ALL OF THE PLACE. I WAS WOUNDERING WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THERE HEAD WHEN THE WARNING WAS TELLING THEM TO PULL UP?
