HELL save runways 32R & 32L. Let the Park Ridge people use ear plugs and file lawsuits. O'Hare was there before most of those houses even existed. The residents knew they were buying a house close to a major airport. Now complaining about the noise from O'Hare is like jumping into a life boat and then trying to keep anyone else from boarding the boat because your to concerned about your own skin.
Looking at a map here... _what_ do 32* have to do with Park Ridge? That's NE of the airport!
32R and 32L currently is used by the larger cargo boys at night.
When decomissioned they will re-route even more over us now.
We have the six pack approach pattern now......the 9 runways and
10 runways..
By the way.....let's keep it above the belt.

Gene - you've got nothing to worry about! The airlines would be the ones footing the bill for these "pipe dream" new runways. The airlines don't want to pay so this whole "modernization" plan is going no where fast! Just because the blue prints exist to decommission 32R & 32L doesn't mean it's going to happen. Ex: Remember how the Elgin-O'Hare Expressway was supposed to be just that? Relax.
