As per the ACAA, all aircraft seating 100 passengers or more must provide space for at least 1 folding wheelchair of reasonable size. It is the passenger's responsibility to notify the airline ahead of time that they want the spot reserved for the folding wheelchair up to 72 hours before the departure of their flight. anything bigger goes in the cargo hold.

88 of the DL 717s belong to Southwest, who inherited the 717s in the Air Tran merger. I feel fortunate enough to have been on 8 Air Tran 717s (FLL-ATL-MKE-ATL-FLL and FLL-GPT-FLL 2 times), and 1 on on Delta (Ex- Air Tran bird on the ATL-MSY run and the MIA-ATL, and MSY-ATL were on the now retired MD 88, and ATL-FLL on a 757)

I had the chance to fly on a VS 747-200 LGW-MIA back in 1992 in coach. I would fly them again. sad that the Airbus 340s and 747s have been parked due to COVID19.

(Duplicate Squawk Submitted) U.S. proposes fine of $1.25 million on Boeing for pressuring workers at airplane plant The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration on Wednesday said it was proposing to fine Boeing Co $1.25 million after the agency alleged Boeing managers at its South Carolina plant exerted undue pressure on workers who handle safety oversight work on behalf of the agency. The FAA said Boeing managers pressured workers to perform inspections on an aircraft that was not eligible for inspection because of various issues; harassed people to make them perform inspections more quickly; threatened to replace workers; and retaliated against a unit manger for filing an undue pressure report by declining to interview the "highly qualified manager” for a promotional position. https://www.yahoo.com/news/faa-proposes-fining-boeing-1-210640753.html

If you look at the left hand-side, you will see the propeller is missing and had penetrated the fuselage of the Saab. Not sure if that was were the person who died was seated, but still just like the Delta MD88 that had the engine failure on takeoff in PNS some years ago when the fan blades pierced the cabin and killed 2 people.
