As I recall from all the media coverage of the event (I was not an eyewitness) the Navy was conducting training exercises out in the ocean right near the area where the airliner exploded and began it's chaotic descent. Makes one wonder...could a mistake have happened?

It is quite ridiculous to mandate the wearing of masks as they do no good in preventing the spread of viruses. Viruses penetrate right through a face mask although they are good bacterial blocks which is why we use them in patient settings. But against a virus they are absolutely no good. When wearing them for long durations they reduce your blood oxygen level and compromise your own immune system. Don’t wear them! There’s so much false information out there. The best thing is to wash hands often and careful what you touch. Face masks will not save you. That’s a farce.

This is total speculation and not proof.

AGAIN - More hype by the media. There is absolutely no evidence of this damage being caused by a drone. BUT - they just report a crazy assumption as fact anyway. If they say it enough times and get others to start saying it then the public will begin to believe it, even though it's not true. This has got to stop.

This is all hype by the news media. There is more danger from bird strikes than any possible drone strike. It's just not a big deal.

The FAA, to their discredit, is now distracted from real issues by spending needless time and money laying out new rules and governing the hobbyist's model aircraft operations. Come On!!!!

We're all guilty of flying off to a practice area and maneuvering without fear of colliding even though we scan the area first. Almost all aircraft have blind spots and sometimes it takes more than just looking...it takes communicating too. Prime example...watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzKHhsW_XbM

I'm a classical guitarist and must carry my guitar, in a hard case, onto the plane with me and fit it in the overhead bin. Sorry about that but the airlines have proved that they are not careful with such checked luggage nor do they step up and take responsibility for the damages they cause. Hence it becomes carry on and will continue to be as long as I travel with any airline.

I found this video explanation which includes video of the windscreen preparing to fail. The reason for the failure is included and apparent when you see the video. The cause is something I never knew existed inside these windscreens. It was electrical malfunction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgJ2XPikZXc&t=
