I find so-called whistleblowers just blowers. They take a job probably thinking they are going to solve the world's issues or just not a team player they have a tendency to never shut up. Had one at work that I replaced. He told the FAA all about the so-called mistakes the company was making, how they were shortcutting maintenance, how they ignored rules and regulations. On the surface, you would have thought OMG this company needs to be suspended. So here comes the FAA with its team of investigators looking over everything. Found a few minor flaws but nothing our so-called whistleblower tried to prove.
Now for the rest of the story. Seems he left Boeing after being popped for drunk driving and had to have one of the breath analyzers installed in his truck. He manages to land a job with us and still drinks coming in one day drunk on duty. Cussed out the VP in front of clients when he was ordered to take an alcohol test. He quickly writes out his resignation and walks out the door.
Sounds like WestJet may be at fault if other passengers agree to testify on their behalf. Not buying into the race issue but now days it seems everyone can claim race.
3 sides to every story let's see where this one ends up.
Agreed with the common but I call it amazingly stupid.
Reminds me a twin-engine gent a few years back who decided to push it to his house since he claimed he wanted to save money on the price of fuel....he flew over 7 airports trying to reach his home base...crashed killing his grandson, his son is now in a wheelchair...all for the cost of a few dollars more.
Disagree with you 100%. Having spent 28 years in the Marine Corps we are equal in all our job skills. The color of the man/woman does not enter into any factor. During combat, we all bleed, yes including me, red. I have buried many a fellow Marine and never once thought of their social/economic background only if they can measure up to our 14 traits as Marines. Not one Marine ever walked into my office saying pitty poor me because I could not get an education due to the area I grew up in.
IF any member of these areas you spoke about joins the military establishment to better themselves they all have equal opportunities to make something of their lives. Very few of us came from upper class and joined many of us struggled through HS and into College and NOT ONE damn person ever gave me an opportunity I earned it through sweat and blood to get where I am at today.
Interesting.............
Over 20 people have been sentenced to jail terms up to 20 years in Iran for participating in peaceful protests against the downing of the plane.
Some Iranians took to Twitter on Sunday to show their anger, with at least one user tweeting “They were alive for 19 seconds ... a tragedy”.
