I suppose it is easier to maintain, may get better fuel economy, and maybe faster, but myself I think it looked better with the radial. Still a nice looking plane.

What a plane. I have flown on one as a passenger back in the 60's. Very nice relaxing flight. I always click on the pic's when they are posted. One of my favorites.
