I just checked the raw shots, I was shooting 6 fps and the whole event from start the end was 6 frames so it lasted around a second. I only got the dramatic donut around the cockpit on 1 frame.

Fabulous WoW capture!! Being from San Francisco, I can confirm that - on humid and or foggy days - this effect is very evident!! Great capture and sharp to boot!! Well done!!
