Short-haul flights are fine for window seats. Long-haul, eg Sydney to Europe, I opt for aisle seats, but never the middle always at the side, so at least I can see through a window that's not too far away.

The tech they use is out dated. They are currently seeking funding for a new manu plant. The tolerances demanded by the latest designs are beyond what they can achieve with what they now are using. They are hoping that military contracts will support a lender to invest.

I am 150% sure that the plane that they installed the engine on was a airbus. Why else would you go to france? Rolls-Royce also should use the same system volkswagen uses, a system which checks and double checks every screw, wire, and blade.

Great video. I worked in this plant oh so long ago. The Trent was just a dream. I worked the test cells with Conways, Avons and the latest, the Spey. Much water under the bridge since then.

Great but just a little to fast for an oldy like me.How things have changed from when I was doing my apprenticeship with Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation in Melbourne.They were building the RR Avon engines for the Canberra and the Sabre
