Build Back Better with Biden. That sure didn't age well. We should have never given up our AF base and embassy in Afghanistan. The politics of appeasement by Neville Biden will haunt us for decades. Support Ukraine or watch Putin march back to Berlin.
Mr. Ed can't be getting any sleep after seeing the oil depot in flames. He could probably beat Putin to death with his bare hands for that one.
The confirmation of the An-225 on Friday said the plane was intact however in the last 12 hours new satelite photos show parts of the plane and the hanger that the plane was is in. Is indeed on fire and destroyed. May this plane live in are hearts and are minds. Such a sad tragedy for a one of a kind An-225. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FMmG3qrXIAQVcry?format=png&name=small
Wrong hanger, william. The 225 resides in a much larger hanger that covers the whole craft not just part of it, and is partially enclosed on the backsde. That to me looks like a 124 in a hanger, as Antonov does have a number of them.
Or worse news would be, it is their restored AN22 that was in that hanger.

That image is indeed of the northern-most hangar, the largest hangar and is the home of the 225. This is very easy to identify between the image vs. Google Earth or Google maps. You can also make out the distinct shape of a wing to the left, as well as the remnants of 3 nacelles on that side.
Sad to say - but she appears to be gone.

I stand partially corrected and you are correct in 1 aspect. reports coming in from Antonov people through social media say it is gone..destroyed in the second attack on Hostomel. (Gostomel/Antonov International) "Sad to say - but she appears to be gone."
However that hangar shown is no longer the largest, and is apparently where 82009 was, an AN124..it too was in for maintenance but was totally destroyed. I just want to hear if AN22 was also damaged since it also uses that hangar.
As long as the main building can remain standing, there is hope the second 225 version will remain mostly intact, and they can use it to rebuild, as they stated.

Looking closer still - you can see the split tail in the image. pixelated as hell when looking that close - but pretty unmistakable.
